Description : The Fish fountain was built from bronze and Quadra Island granite and is a commemorative fountain that pays homage to the fish! The fountain features four bronze cast fish whose heads spout water from their mouths. The fish tails found at the top of the fountain also sprout water. It is a popular watering hole for tourists and those Gastown horses.

Date: 1987

Location : Corner of Abbott and Water Streets, Vancouver, Canada.

History Behind The Fish Fountain : Fish fountain was commissioned by the Leshgold family  as a memorial to the late Samuel Leshgold, who loved Gastown. And surprise, surprise, Samuel loved nothing better than to go Salmon fishing, thus those water spewing fish heads!
