Description: A bronze bust of Soviet military commander Rodion Yakovlevich Malinovsky (23rd November 1898 -31st March 1967) who ended his WWII campaign in Europe by liberating Brno on the 26th, April 1945. The commander is depicted in his military uniform with a line of medals across his chest including no doubt the Order of Victory (the highest Soviet-military decoration of the time) presented to him by Stalin.

Date: The bust was completed in 1950 and placed in current location in 1955.
