Public Art in Tirau

Tirau is a little town set in the South Waikato region on the North Island of New Zealand, near Hamilton. Primary a farming town it boasts the most amazing corrugated iron sculptures in all of New Zealand and is known as the "Corrugated Iron Capital of New Zealand" . Many of the local artists make their living out of discarded sheets of corrugated iron.
