Additional Work : The Wishing Well was refurbished in 2008. The new wrought Iron scroll work (replacing the original) was created by Antonio Battistessa .

Description:

Date Unveiled: The Rotary Wishing well was dedicated on the 2nd of October, 1949 by Dr G.H. Wright of Rotary.

Location: The Rotary Wishing Well is located on Frazer Avenue (between the Bali Memorial and the Cenotaph), Kings Park, Western Australia.

Kings Park Wishing Well Trivia:

In the first year of the well being constructed the Perth Rotary Club raised a total of £632 , mostly in pennies and threepences, from the public of Perth. Newly wed couples were the biggest contributors. The majority of the money was given to Sister Kate's Home.
