World War II Memorial BrisbaneDescription : A bronze sculpture of an Australian nurse attending a wounded soldier. Around the base of the memorial are insignia of many women’s services, as well as a replica Victoria Cross, citation and photograph of VC winner, Corporal Jack French of Crows Nest

Date Unveiled : The WWII Memorial was unveiled in 1992. 

Inscription :

World War II Memorial
This Memorial depicts a wounded Australian soldier being assisted by a nursing sister, it is a scene typical of all theatres of war and exemplifies the involvement of all AUstralian servicemen and women in World War II.
