Public Art in Versailles

When you think of public art in Versailles, you think fountains, lots of fountains. The Chateau de Versailles has over eleven magnificent water sprouting displays adorned with magnificent bronze statues.

Versailles is a suburb of Paris and home of The Palace of Versailles (Chateau de Versailles). The court of Versailles was the center of political power in France from 1682 when Louis XIV moved from Paris. This ended in 1789 when the royal family was forced to return to the capital after the start of the French Revolution.
