Description: The bronze Tandem Bike Riders sculpture features a rabbit and dog riding a tandem bike. The dog is concentrating on steering whilst the rabbit is about to take a photo . The two figures are called ‘Dogman and Rabbitgirl’, and are the alter egos of husband and wife team Gillie and Marc. 

Artist’s Statements: “Normally in the wild a dog would chase a rabbit and they wouldn’t get along. But in our world, two unlikely characters have come together, and they’ve become soulmates. It’s all about unity and embracing our differences and getting along in the world.” Gillie Schattner ABC Radio 2017

Cost: $40,000

Location: The snap happy rabbit and bike riding pooch can be found on the corner of Beaufort and Vincent Street in Mt Lawley, Perth, Western Australia.
