Public Art in Penguin

Penguin is a small town on the north-west coast of Tasmania, Australia. The town was named by the botanist Ronald Campbell Gunn in 1861, who noted it was a popular breeding ground for the Fairy Penguin. The main public art attraction in Penguin is the Big Penguin statue at the foreshore park. The penguin statue has been there since 1975.
