Location: The John Allen memorial plaque can be found at the entrance to Allen Park, Kirkwood Road, Swanbourne, Western Australia.

Allen Park

Named after John Allen (1883-1969) Late of 1 Reeve Street Swanbourne, who served as a member of the Nedlands Road Board for 31 years.
John Allen, through his personal efforts, secured the 20 acre reserve for the citizens of Swanbourne.
His efforts assure many pleasant hours of recreation for citiens of the future.
He served the council 1920-1951
