Public Art in Linyi

Linyi is a city in the Shandong province of China. It is rather unique as eight rivers pass through the city. Three of the rivers meet in the center of the city and form a “y” shape. Over the past few years, the city of Linyi has modernized and expanded. The city’s slogan is now “Grand Linyi, Beautiful Linyi, New Linyi”. With the new expansion has come new pieces of public art. Yimeng Square has a series of urban sculptures based around the theme of Spirit of the Yimeng People during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression  (1937-45).

Please note that due to translation issues some of the names of the sculptures may be misinterpreted. If so please let me know in comment section.
