Public Art at Lake Vidraru

Lake Vudraru is an artificial lake constructed in 1965 for Hydroelectricity production. There is an underground power station next to the lake. On Plesa mount is the famous  ‘Energia’ statue, representing Prometheus with lightning in his hand.
