Public Art in Vevey
Vevey is a picturesque town that lies on the north shore of Lake Geneva in Switzerland. Vevey is also home to Nestle. Did you know that milk chocolate was first created in Vevey by Daniel Peter and Henri Nestle? As for the public art in Vevey, you won’t be disappointed. The silent film star and comic genius Charlie Chaplin lived in Vevey from 1952 until his death in 1977. You will find a statue of Charlie Chaplin at the docks. The town is also the home of the world’s tallest fork, thanks to Swiss artist Jean-Pierre Zaugg.
