Public Art at Scarborough

Scarborough is a coastal suburb about 14kms from Perth. It is well known for its entertainment precinct at Scarborough Beach. After a long and expensive refurbishment of the Scarborough Beach strip, which included an oceanside swimming pool, skatepark, and boardwalks, the area has burst back to life. Included in the refurbishment were several new public art installations. The most popular public art at Scarborough would have to be Watch Over You by Tony and Ben Jones. It is in recognition of the surf lifesavers who have, and still, play an important part in  Scarborough Beach’s culture and identity.
